Unified inbox now supports TikTok and Telegram

Customers reach you on the platform that's already open on their phone — and increasingly, that platform isn't WhatsApp or Instagram. Two channels are now live in Voxys Connect.

TikTok Direct Messages

For creator-led brands, TikTok DMs are now where the conversation starts. A viewer watches your product video, taps the message button, and asks "is this in stock?" — and until this week, that message lived in the TikTok app on a single person's phone. Now it routes to your unified inbox, gets tagged with the originating video, and any agent on your team can respond.

What works:

  • Direct messages from individual users
  • Conversation context (which video drove the message)
  • Captain AI replies inline, in the customer's language

What's still scoped: TikTok Shop order notifications (coming next quarter — Shop API is a separate integration).

Telegram

Telegram is the default messenger across Russia, Ukraine, much of Central Asia, and growing fast in Europe and South America. If your customer base lives there, you've been blind to inbound messages on that channel. Not anymore.

The integration covers:

  • 1:1 customer messages to your business bot
  • Group chat moderation (assign your team as group admins, route mentions to the inbox)
  • Media: images, voice notes, documents
  • Inline buttons for quick replies and template flows

Why now

We waited on both of these until we had Captain AI working reliably in 50+ languages. Adding a channel where you can't reply well isn't a feature — it's a graveyard. With Captain AI handling tier-1 in any language, these channels actually pay back.

Turn them on from Inbox settings → Add channel when you're ready.
