Most teams give up on WhatsApp Business API at the Facebook Business Manager step. It's a wall of forms, verification loops, and dashboards that don't talk to each other. With Voxys Connect, you skip all of it — we handle the Meta side, you get a verified business number ready to message.
What you'll need
- A phone number not currently registered on WhatsApp (or one we can migrate)
- Your business's legal name, address, and a website
- Five minutes for Meta's automated business verification
Step 1 — Add WhatsApp from the inbox
In your Voxys workspace, open Inbox settings → Add channel → WhatsApp. Pick "Bring my own number" if you have one already on WhatsApp Business app, or "Get a new number" to provision a fresh one through us.
Step 2 — Verify the business
We'll prefill the Meta business verification form with your workspace data. You confirm three fields (legal entity, address, website), submit, and Meta usually approves within 30 minutes. If they ask for proof of business — a utility bill or commercial registration — upload it directly in the same flow.
Step 3 — Send a test message
Once approved, send a template message to your own phone right from the inbox. If it lands, you're done. New conversations now route to your team automatically; Captain AI can take the first reply if you turn it on.
Common gotchas
- Display name rejected: Meta enforces a specific format. Use your legal business name, not a marketing tagline.
- 24-hour message window: After a customer messages you, you have 24 hours to reply for free. After that, only approved templates work.
- Limited initial throughput: New numbers start at 1,000 conversations/day. Volume tier increases automatically as you message more.
