Changelog — May 2026: Captain AI context retention, Kanban CRM, Telegram groups

What shipped in Voxys Connect this month. Roll-out is gradual — most updates are live for all workspaces, a couple are behind a feature flag while we monitor.

Captain AI

Longer context retention. Captain AI now keeps the full conversation history available for reasoning over the entire conversation thread, not just the last 20 messages. For long ongoing customer relationships, this means the AI stops "forgetting" what was discussed earlier in the thread.

Faster first reply. Median time-to-first-reply on AI-handled conversations is down from 4.2 seconds to 1.8 seconds. Backend infra change — no action needed on your side.

Better escalation summaries. When Captain AI hands off to a human, the summary now includes a one-line "why escalated" tag (low confidence, sensitive topic, customer request, repeated rephrasing). Agents can triage their queue faster.

CRM

Kanban view. Your CRM pipeline now renders as a drag-and-drop Kanban board. Stages map to your existing pipeline configuration. Drag a deal across stages to update its status — no form needed.

Custom labels per deal. Attach colored labels to deals (priority, source, segment) and filter by them in the new Kanban view.

Channels

Telegram group support. Teams can now add Voxys as a moderator inside Telegram groups. Mentions, replies, and direct interactions in the group are routed to the unified inbox just like 1:1 messages.

WhatsApp typing indicator. When an agent is composing a reply, the customer sees the typing indicator on WhatsApp now (previously only on web chat).

Smaller wins

  • Inbox: saved-views filters now persist across sessions
  • Bot flows: conditional branching can now reference any variable from any previous step, not just the immediate prior one
  • Mobile app (beta): agent inbox iOS build is live in TestFlight — DM us for an invite
  • API: new webhook event `conversation.transferred` fires whenever a conversation moves between agents or teams

Heads up — coming in June

We're testing voice support for Captain AI (currently chat-only). If you operate a phone line and want to be part of the beta, reply to this post or message us in-app.
